Greens are maintained year round. The surface should be smooth and consistent from green to green. Every effort should be made to provide a surface free from weeds, diseases, or other pests. For day to day play they should maintain a speed of 9.5-10.5 as measures by the stimp meter. Adjustment to these inputs will occur during periods of adverse weather issues for the health of the turf.

Objective

  • Reduce amount of Poa annua.
  • Decrease percentage of organic material in top 2 inches.
  • Improve drainage.

Procedures

  • Mowing; Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday in season (Mid-March/April through Mid-
